USJJF National Coaching Meeting
Days Inn and Suites in Richfield, Ohio
February 19, 2012
-
USJJF National Coaching Meeting the morning of February 19, 2012 at the Days Inn and Suites in Richfield, Ohio during the Kwanmukan Symposium. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss athlete development and the selection of athletes to any upcoming international events this year. This will cover both USJJF and provide information on integration issues USJJF athletes may have with any TKJ events through the WJF. It is the intent here to participate in the World Judo Federation in a manner that there is no conflict of interest as we will have two separate organizations, the USJJF and USA-TJK. The USA-TJK is not the USJJF and will have different operational methods and different boards – although some of us may be on more than one board. USJJF personnel (athletes and coaches) may desire to participate in both and we wish to facilitate that and avoid confusion and dispel rumor.

2012- National Coaching and Athlete Training Camp
Hickey Karate Center 4540 Stow Road in Stow, Ohio.
March 24, a 2day combined (Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun) coaching clinic and athlete training camp
-
This is a few months out from theJune national championships and should not interfere with anything. The purpose would be to cover important athlete training and development issues as well as getting a look at the athletes who desire to go to international events. Further to expand the coaching section by using this as a recruitment for new USJJF individuals. You are welcome to suggest content for the clinic and training so we can put together a detailed, exciting and worthwhile agenda for this event. There will be a lot of give and take during the sessions as we have a lot of well-qualified individuals in the coaching area participating.
