JJIF Referee Course

On September 26-30, the JJIF held an international referees course in Ontario, Canada.

Michael Piaser, Bo Kimly and Joe Santocildes earned their JJIF Continental referees license for the United States. Michael Piaser renewed his JJIF license.

The practicum portion of the examination was held during the Canadian Open Championships held on September 29th. On September 30th, Mr. Piaser and Mr. Santocildes refereed at the Ju-Jitsu North American Union Continental Championships.

During the JJNAU Championships, Mr. Kimly performed his duties as coach of the US Team. Joe Santocildes has recently been appointed to the USJJF Referees Committee. Mr. Piaser is the chairman of the USJJF Referees Committee.
